Our Story

Two Birds Taphouse is a family owned and operated bar and restaurant off the Marietta Square. The Byrds, a local Marietta family had a vision of creating a place where good food, good drinks, and good people could come together. They set out to restore and renovate a beautiful historic property in the heart of Marietta Square. Contemporary fixtures were combined with the building’s historic bones to provide an industrial space that maintains a warm and inviting ambience

In January of 2025 Briton Nevitt, former Two Birds Head Chef and Georgia Tech graduate, took over ownership of the bar, keeping the same goals, atmosphere and vision.

At its core, Two Birds is a neighborhood gastropub where guests are greeted by friendly faces, lively entertainment, and a strong sense of community. Our talented staff brings care and passion into everything they do, whether it be the carefully selected local beers on tap, the craft cocktail menus that incorporate house-made elements, or our seasonal rotating food menus that allow fresh local ingredients to really shine.
